Scarce Gruen "Dartmouth Quadron" men's Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1934.
The "Dartmouth" has a rectangular case with stepped and hooded lugs. It was priced at $75.00 in 1934. This example has a rare gilt-finish grade 123 Quadron movement and a factory-original black sector dial. The watch is in crisp, excellent condition with no brassing. Caseback is superb and unengraved. The case measures 38mm long and 22mm wide. Original black-finish dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct gilt-finish 17-jewel Gruen grade 123 Quadron manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
