Very scarce Lord Elgin "Model 4806" men's Retro Modern design wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1948.

The "Model 4806" has a beveled case with large overlapping lugs. It was priced at $70.00 in 1948. It is very scarce with an original black finish dial. This example is in excellent condition with only a few specks of brassing to the tops of the lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 38mm long and 26mm wide. Acrylic crystal is excellent. Original black nickel finish inlaid gilt dial is superb. The watch is powered by its correct Elgin 21-jewel grade 556 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
