Hamilton “Webster” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1931.
The “Webster” has a large barrel-shaped case with streamlined grooves along each side. It was priced to consumers at $55.00 in 1931. This example is in excellent condition with light brassing to the lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with some light dings. This is the earliest version of the "Webster" and has male lugs requiring female spring bars. Case measures 39mm long and 27mm wide. Older refinished inlaid enamel dial is excellent, with some slight patina. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987-F manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong. Has correct original stepped crown.
