Scarce Hamilton Illinois “Debonair A” men’s Retro Modern design wristwatch in 10K yellow rolled gold plate and steel, circa 1955.

The “Debonair A" has an ornately embossed case and was priced at $39.75 in 1955. This is the first example of this scarce model I have offered in many years. This example is in crisp, excellent condition with no brassing. Caseback is superb  and unengraved, with all of its factory brushed finish. Case measures 37mm long and 24mm wide. Original dial is superb, has embossed gold numerals. Original domed glass crystal is superb. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Illinois manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
