Rare Elgin "Model E-4" men's Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1928.
The "Model E-4" was priced at $55.00 in 1928 and is quite rare in solid gold. This is the first I have offered in several years and this example has an unusual gilt-finish radial numeral dial. It is in crisp, excellent condition showing almost no wear. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 34mm long and 28mm wide. Original gilt finish radial numeral dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Elgin grade 428 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
