Aviation was all the rage in the rage in the 1930s and Elgin introduced a series of aviation-themed watches to capitalize on the aviation craze. This version has a simple cushion case with a special Air Corps specification dial with white numerals and the winged Avigo logo. It is in crisp excellent condition showing no wear to the chromium plating. Caseback is superb and unengraved. Case measures 34mm long and 28mm wide. Refinished dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 7-jewel Elgin grade 430 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
