Scarce Bulova “Conqueror” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill with black enamel bezel, circa 1926.

The “Conqueror” has stylized eagle heads set in black enamel in each corner and was priced at $50.00 in 1926. The watch was renamed the “Lone Eagle” for Charles Lindbergh following his historic solo crossing of the Atlantic in May of 1927. This example is in crisp, excellent condition with no brassing. Enamel is excellent with only a few tiny nicks. Hinged caseback is superb and unengraved. Underside of case shows some light pitting. Case measures 33mm long and 26mm wide. Original inlaid enamel dial is excellent, with a few faint marks. Has new vintage-style luminous. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Bulova grade 10P manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
