Illinois “New Yorker” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1929.

With its unusual horizontally oriented case and ocean wave designs engraved along its sides, the “New Yorker” is a very eye-catching design. The “New Yorker” was priced to consumers at $50.00 in 1929. This example is in excellent condition with only a small speck of brassing in each bezel corner. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 34mm long and 28mm wide. Original two-tone dial is fair. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Illinois grade 905 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
