Hamilton Square B 14K
Rare Hamilton “Square B” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1930.
The "Square B" is quite rare in solid gold, with only 862 examples of this plain bezel version produced in 14K white gold. As is typical with these watches, the center case body has acquired a deep orange gold patina over the years, making the watch appear two-tone. This example is in crisp, excellent condition showing only very light wear. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Caseback has a different serial number than the rest of the watch, but the numbers are fairly close. The case measures 35mm long and 29mm wide. Refinished luminous dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. Watch is powered its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987-F manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
