Rare Hamilton “Cushion” men’s Modern design wristwatch in solid 14K green gold, circa 1925.

The "Cushion" was Hamilton's first 6/0-size men's wristwatch and was introduced in 1922. It was priced at $75.00 in 1925 and only 2,769 produced were produced in solid green gold. This example has a rare factory original black numeral dial instead of the luminous numeral dial usually seen. It is in excellent condition showing only very light wear. The green gold case has developed a rich patina. Caseback is excellent, watch a discreet monogram. Case measures 35mm long and 27mm wide. Original black numeral dial is excellent, with some very faint marks. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 986A manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
