Scarce Hamilton “Whitney” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1932.

The “Whitney” has a very striking flared and stepped case... its dramatic design and low production make it among the most desirable of the early 1930s Hamilton models. It is a scarce model, with only 4,136 produced. It was priced to consumers at $55.00 in 1932. This example is in crisp, excellent condition with no brassing to the bezel, which is very unusual. The tips of the lugs have a few specks of brassing. Caseback is superb and unengraved. The case measures 36mm long and 30mm wide. Refinished luminous dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987-F manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
