Hamilton “Bentley” men’s Modern design wristwatch in 10K yellow gold fill, circa 1961.

The "Bentley" has a square case with notched lugs and was priced at $79.50 in 1961. This was one of the case designs that Hamilton used as part of its "Sherwood" series of watches with wood dials. Hamilton retained the case and hands of the "Bentley" and simply replaced its two-tone silver dial with a teakwood dial and renamed it the "Sherwood S." It is in crisp, excellent condition with no brassing. Caseback is superb and unengraved. Case measures 35mm long and 24mm wide. Original two-tone dial is superb. Glass crystal is superb. This watch is powered by its correct 22-jewel Hamilton grade 770 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
