Very scarce Elgin “Home Run 1615” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K green gold fill, circa 1930.

One of the scarcest Elgin designs from the early 1930s, the “Home Run 1615” has an unusual sculpted case with Art Deco engravings set in panels on the bezel. It was priced at $37.50 in 1930. This is one of only a few I have ever offered in green. It is in excellent condition with only a tiny speck or two of brassing to the lugs. Curved caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 36mm long and 28mm wide. Original three-tone dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Elgin grade 428 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.

Price $350. SOLD
