Longines Model 4017 Oxidized

Longines referred to its models with engraved and enameled bezels as "oxidized" and this model was priced at $62.00 in 1930. This model has high Art Deco stylized Thunderbirds and eagle heads set in panels of black enamel on the bezel. It is very scarce and this is the first I have ever offered. It is in crisp, excellent condition with just a little brassing to the edges of the lugs. Art Deco stylized enameled engravings on the bezel and are crisp. Caseback is excellent and unengraved with a few very faint lines of wear along the edges. The case measures 38mm long and 22mm wide. Has new glass crystal. Original enamel inlaid luminous dial is superb. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Longines 9.47N manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
