Scarce Longines “Diamond Dial” men’s Retro Modern design wristwatch in solid 14K rose gold, circa 1940.

This small-sized Longines model is usually found in yellow gold; this is the first rose gold example I have ever seen. The case was made by the boutique jewelry firm of Kaspar & Esh of New York City, specifically for Longines. This is a catalogued, Longines-signed, genuine factory-cased watch, not an aftermarket jeweler-cased watch. It is in excellent condition showing only very slight wear. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with some light scratches. The case measures 30mm long and 22mm wide. Dial has 3 diamonds with the remaining hour markers being solid white gold hexagons. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Longines grade 8LN manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
